Forum Title: Will Clomid Help with Deca Dick?
Posted by: MuscleMaven
Hey everyone,
Ive been on a cycle of Deca Durabolin (Nandrolone) for a while now and Im starting to see some signs of gynecomastia. Heard that clomiphene citrate, commonly known as Clomid, can help with this. Anyone have any experience or advice? Is it worth trying?

Hey MuscleMaven,
Clomid is often used post-cycle to help restore natural testosterone production after using AAS (anabolic-androgenic steroids) like Deca Durabolin. It works as an anti-estrogen, meaning it can lower estrogen levels and potentially reduce the symptoms of gynecomastia.
However, if you're already seeing signs while still on cycle, you might want to consider a more potent aromatase inhibitor (AI) like Aromasin or Arimidex. These are stronger at lowering estrogen than Clomid.
What's your current dosage? And how long have you been using Deca Durabolin?

Thanks for the info, BioHacker99! Ive been on 400 mg of Deca Durabolin weekly for about a month now. Yeah, thats why I was wondering if Clomid would be helpful at this stage.
Also, what are the typical side effects to look out for with Clomid? And should I consider any other supplements?

With your dosage and duration of Deca Durabolin use, it's definitely a good idea to take precautions. Clomid might help to an extent but isn't as potent as AIs like Arimidex or Letrozole.
Typical side effects of Clomid include:
- Hot flashes
- Headaches
- Mood swings (irritability)
- Visual disturbances
In terms of supplements, you could consider natural aromatase inhibitors such as DIM or 7-Keto DHEA. They arent as strong but can still help reduce estrogen levels.
However, its crucial to consult with a doctor before starting any new supplement regimen, especially when dealing with steroid use and its side effects.

Hello MuscleMaven,
I understand you're experiencing some concerns while using Deca Durabolin. While Clomid can help restore natural testosterone production post-cycle, it may not be the best choice for reducing symptoms of gynecomastia during active steroid use.
For immediate relief and prevention of further gynecomastia development, AIs like Letrozole or Arimidex are more effective at lowering estrogen levels. They work by inhibiting aromatase enzyme activity which is responsible for converting testosterone into estrogen.
However, it's important to note that while these medications can help manage symptoms, they might also come with their own set of side effects and health risks. Always consult a healthcare professional before starting any new medication or supplement regimen, especially when dealing with steroid cycles.
In your case, if you haven't already, I would recommend discussing this issue with an endocrinologist who specializes in hormone replacement therapy. They can provide personalized guidance based on your specific needs and overall health condition.

Thanks a lot, DoctorD! Thats very helpful advice. I will definitely consult an endocrinologist before taking any further steps. Appreciate the detailed response!
BioHacker99, thanks for all the tips as well. Seems like I need to do some more research and maybe switch to AIs while I'm on Deca.
